On April 14, 2023, we cordially invite you to participate in the inspiring second edition of the CMI-NEN Matchmaking Symposium. This day will be entirely devoted to innovative imaging and diagnostics. In addition to the many informative lectures by top speakers from the CMI-NEN consortium, there are various matchmaking opportunities with the interdisciplinary Center for Medical Imaging North East Netherlands (CMI-NEN). The symposium brings together clinical partners, business associates and researchers. By putting cooperation ahead of competition against each other, greater achievements become possible than without this content-driven joining of forces. We believe that collaboration and community building are central to this event to ultimately create an impact on healthcare through technology.

Inspiring programme with keynotes, matchmaking breaks, pitches and guided tours

The symposium offers a diverse knowledge-sharing programme, matchmaking options and inspiration. During the morning program, you will be inspired by various lectures by Tobias Heimann (Siemens Healthineers, Head AI), Wiro Niessen (Dean Medical Sciences, University of Groningen), Ron Handels (Maastricht University, Researcher) and Elsmarieke van de Giessen (UMCA, radiologist Nuclear Medicine). During the afternoon program, you can participate in guided tours that lead you through the imaging and robotic labs as well as the state-of-the-art infrastructure in the TechMed Centre and you can join in the network breaks. So there are plenty of opportunities to explore collaborations in the field of research and business.
