Medical Devices
From smart implants to advanced surgical instruments, we develop medical devices that contribute to improved diagnostics, treatment, and monitoring. Twente is a leader in innovative, patient-centered solutions.
Micro & Nano Tech
Microsystems and nanotechnology enable new forms of diagnostics and therapy, often at the cellular or molecular level. In Twente, these technologies are applied in biosensors, organ-on-a-chip, and lab-on-a-chip devices, among other things.
Bio & Pharma Tech
We combine biotechnology and pharmaceutical innovation to develop new therapies, biomedical materials, and regenerative technologies. Examples include smart biomaterials, personalized medication, and tissue engineering.
Motion, Sensing & Imaging
With smart sensors, imaging technology, and data processing, we make medical monitoring and diagnostics faster, more accurate, and less stressful for patients. AI plays an increasingly important role in this, for example in image analysis and predictive care.
