Mark your calendars for an exciting day filled with inspiring talks, live demonstrations, and valuable networking opportunities with leading experts, researchers, and industry professionals at the forefront of robotics innovation.
Below are some highlights of the program:
Keynote
Dr. Ali Sadeghi will share deep insights into soft robotics in additive manufacturing. He’ll explore the challenges in developing complex, multifunctional soft systems — from soft sensors and proprioceptive actuators to sensorized insoles and prosthetic hands. You’ll hear about the fabrication techniques, materials, and design strategies behind this groundbreaking research, and the direction it’s heading.
Talk: Modular Ground Robot Navigation
RIWO, a system integration firm, will present their modular approach to robotic navigation. Discover how modular software stacks bring long-term efficiency and adaptability across diverse machine manufacturers, with real-world examples from their current projects.
Talk: Mission I.A.M. – Developing a bionic leg to run in the desert
The ambition? A bionic leg that enables amputees to run the Marathon des Sables in 2030. The journey starts now with wearable technologies for real-world biomechanical sensing. A dedicated team of MSc students is working on:
- Smart sensorized sportswear
- Minimal IMU-based motion tracking
- Real-time digital athlete prototypes
