Zorginnovatie.nl aims to accelerate innovations in healthcare. Companies that have already developed, tested, and launched their innovation can often use a helping hand to make their company a real success. That is why Zorginnovatie.nl awards the National Healthcare Innovation Award every year to the most innovative company in the scale-up phase.
Participants have the chance to win:
- Jury Award (€10.000) or Audience Award (€5.000);
- Free access to and their own booth at the Health Valley Event;
- Professional guidance with the development of the innovation;
- Access to the network of Zorginnovatie.nl;
Zorginnovatie.nl organizes the National Healthcare Innovation Award together with her regional partners. During the Slimme Zorg Estafette (February 6 – March 3, 2023), each region will organize a preliminary round to determine which innovation will represent the region. The nominees will then present at the finale on March 30, 2023 at the Health Valley Event where the winners will be announced.

February 6 – March 3, 2023: preliminary round per region
March 20, 2023: start of voting process for the Audience Award
March 27, 2023: deadline of voting process for the Audience Award
March 30, 2023: the finale at the Health Valley Event
ANNOUNCING THE WINNERS
After the finalists are announced in the beginning of March, the jury will judge each finalist separately to then decide on the winner together. The members of the jury will be announced later. Between March 20 and March 27, each finalist can campaign to get as many votes as possible from the audience. The innovation with the most votes (the Jury winner excluded) will then win the Audience Award.
