The aim of this project is to move beyond exoskeletons and develop an autonomous, lightweight, unobtrusive and comfortable flexible robotic suit that enables patients with a complete SCI to walk in everyday situations with minimal use of crutches.

Sunram 5 is a MR safe robotic system for breast biopsy. It is driven by novel pneumatic stepper motors which are rapid prototyped by 3-D printing and laser-cutting.

Electrodes are integrated to electrically stimulate the heart cells (pacing, e.g., synchronize heart beat) and electrically monitor the response of the heart cells in the presence of different drugs to treat heart disease or to study the cardiotoxic effect of for example chemotherapeutic agents.
