Are you a female entrepreneur in MedTech?
The Santiago WISE Award supports women founders in medical technology who are ready to take their innovation to the next level. With a total of €20,000 in grants available, this initiative helps selected entrepreneurs grow their expertise through world-class education and enhance their impact in the MedTech field.
Why this award?
Although women represent 35% of funding applicants in the Netherlands, only 2% of all investments go to female entrepreneurs. The WISE Award aims to challenge and change this imbalance by investing directly in women-led innovation.
What’s on offer?
3–4 selected entrepreneurs will receive a grant between €3,000 and €6,000 each to attend a high-impact MedTech course. Example programs include:
- TechMed Academy – University of Twente
- Medical Device Engineering – UCLA (online)
Courses must be relevant to MedTech innovation and fall within the €3,000–€6,000 cost range.
How to apply
Applications are open now! Submit your application before 15 September by email to info@santiago-fonds.nl.
Please include:
- A motivation letter (max. half A4)
- Description of your innovation (max. half A4)
- Short bio (max. half A4)
- Your proposed course and budget (between €3K–€6K)
