During the Slimme Zorgestafette (Smart Care Relay), smart care and innovation are the focus of one region each week, after which the baton is passed on to the next region. Region East (Overijssel, Gelderland, Flevoland) is on from January 20 to January 24!

During the SZE, the focus is on innovation in the entire healthcare sector: from prevention to welfare and from support to treatment. Important themes here include the right care in the right place, working differently and scaling up successfully. It is the (cross-domain) collaborations and interaction with participants that make the Relay to what it is.

MST Innovationmarket

On Tuesday, January 21 Medisch Spectrum Twente (MST) will hold their annual innovationmarket as part of the Slimme Zorgestafette (Smart Healthcare Relay; for more information about the event you can look at the Dutch website). From 10am to 4pm healthcare professionals, patients and other visitors can explore the future of healthcare at the market. Different examples of innovative collaboration are presented in the central hall of the hospital.This year, MedTech Twente will also have a stand to present our growing collaboration with MST’s innovation lab. We want to take this opportunity to showcase some of the innovative MedTech Twente companies in our community. So, we would like to invite a few company representatives to join us at our stand. It would be especially nice if there is something to look at or try out for the participants, even if it is a prototype. Most healthcare professionals are expected to visit around lunchtime, so keep that in mind when planning your availability.
